French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 large onions, sliced, 1/4 c. margarine, 6 cubes beef bouillon, 1 qt. water and 1 tsp. worcestershire, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large saucepan, cook onions in margarine until tender.
Add bouillon, pepper, water and Worcestershire.
Simmer, covered, for 20 to 25 minutes to blend flavors.
To serve, top each serving with a slice of bread and sliced cheese.
If desired, place under broiler or bake until cheese is bubbly.
Makes 4 to 6 servings. White wine can replace 1 cup of water for a rich flavor.
