"Clyde Brown Fun Fair" Fried Dough is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. loaf frozen bread dough or 1 lb. fresh, flour, powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar and cooking oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Thaw bread dough and divide into 6 pieces.
Lightly flour cutting board.
With rolling pin, flatten dough into circle or oval (do not roll dough too much).
Stretch dough with hands to make larger circles.
Let dough rise for 10 to 15 minutes.
Heat about an inch of cooking oil in electric frypan (400Β°).
Cook 2 to 3 pieces of fried dough at a time until brown on both sides. (Dough cooks best if only turned once.)
Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with sugar.
