Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugar, beating well.
Add egg and lemon juice; mix well.
Combine flour, soda and salt; add to butter mixture, mixing well.
Divide dough in half; wrap each portion in plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.
Roll each portion to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
Cut with a 5-inch tree shaped cookie cutter; place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375Β° for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
Transfer to wire rack to cool. Spread green frosting on cookies; let dry.
