Chinese Pork Roast Tenderloin
Chinese Pork Roast Tenderloin is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. pork tenderloin, 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3/4 tsp. chinese five spice and 1 clove garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Stir together all ingredients, except meat.
Pour over meat and marinate, turning occasionally, for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
Lift meat from marinade and place on a rack in a roasting pan.
Insert meat thermometer into the thickest portion of one of the pieces.
Roast, uncovered, in a 425° oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until the temperature reaches 170° on the meat thermometer.
Slice thinly across tenderloin.
Serve with hot mustard, ketchup and toasted sesame seed.
