Chinese Pepper Steak
Chinese Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. soy sauce, 1 tsp. sugar, 1/4 c. olive oil, 1/2 tsp. ginger and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Pour soy sauce and sugar over meat.
Marinate for 1/2 hour. Heat oil in skillet.
Add ginger and garlic; cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Discard garlic.
Add meat and liquid.
Saute about 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, pepper and cornstarch, blended with water. Cook gently, about 5 minutes.
Serve over plain rice.
Serves 4.
