Chili Rellenos Casserole
Chili Rellenos Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. chopped onion, salt and pepper to taste, 2 (4 oz.) cans diced green chiles and 8 oz. grated cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Brown ground beef and onion; season with salt and pepper. Spread in 11 x 13-inch pan.
Top with Cheddar cheese, then diced chiles over Cheddar, then Monterey Jack cheese over chiles. Combine milk, flour and eggs in a bowl and mix well with wire whisk.
Pour mixture over casserole.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
Top with tomato sauce and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
