Chili(Double Recipe)
Chili(Double Recipe) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. hamburger, 2 large onions, chopped (about 2 c.), 4 cloves garlic, crushed, 2 (16 oz.) cans whole tomatoes and 4 medium stalks celery, sliced (about 4 c.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook and stir hamburger, onion and garlic in 3-quart saucepan until hamburger is light brown; drain.
Stir in tomatoes with liquid, celery, chili powder, salt, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper sauce and kidney beans.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 hour.
Makes 10 servings.
Also works well in crock-pot (all day) on low.
