Chili
Chili is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/4 c. green pepper (optional), 1/2 c. onion, 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef, salt to taste and 1/8 tsp. red pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large pot or Dutch oven, fry up onion and green pepper. Next, brown the ground beef.
When brown, add salt, red pepper, chili powder and garlic salt.
Stir to blend seasonings.
Add chili beans (rinsed in colander under running water).
Then add tomatoes, tomato soup, tomato sauce and sugar.
Add water.
Stir occasionally.
Cook very slowly for 3 hours.
