Chicken Pot Pie
Chicken Pot Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box pillsbury folded pie crusts, 2 c. cooked chicken, cut into chunks, 2 tbsp. onion, finely minced, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine and 4 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Line 1 1/2-quart baking dish with one sheet of pie crust. Place chicken, onion, peas and carrots in dish.
Melt butter in saucepan and stir in flour.
Blend thoroughly.
Slowly add stock, salt and pepper, stirring until mixture thickens.
Pour sauce over chicken and vegetables.
Top with second pastry.
Prick top crust with a fork several times or with a knife.
Bake at 425Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve at once.
