Butter Dumplings
Butter Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, 3 1/2 tbsp. butter, softened, 1/8 tsp. salt, dash celery salt, paprika and thyme and 1 tsp. parsley, minced (fresh is best), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix together egg, butter, salt, spices, parsley and chives; then stir in flour.
Let batter stand at room temperature for about an hour.
Bring broth, soup or salted water to gentle boil, then using a teaspoon drop batter into liquid.
When dumplings rise to surface they are cooked.
