Banana Tea Bread
Banana Tea Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. flour, 1/3 c. soft shortening, 2/3 c. sugar, 1 c. mashed ripe banana and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Stir flour, baking powder, soda and salt with electric beater at medium speed.
Blend shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat until light and fluffy, then at low speed, beat flour mixture alternately with bananas, just until smooth.
Turn into pan.
Bake 1 hour.
Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove.
Cool overnight before slicing.
