Armenian Pilaf
Armenian Pilaf is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in just 50 minutes. Made with cube butter, c. long grain white rice (not instant), c. chicken broth, c. vermicelli and . salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Melt butter in heavy pan.
Break vermicelli into small pieces; saute in butter until golden brown, stirring constantly.
Add rice; keep stirring until rice is well coated, 2 to 3 minutes. Add boiling chicken broth and salt.
Cook, covered, on medium-low heat for 20 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.
Fluff with fork. Serves 8.
