In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, white flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
In a medium bowl, mix together the egg white, whole egg, oil, zucchini and vanilla.
Add this mixture to flour mixture, stirring the ingredients to combine them well.
Stir in nuts and/or raisins and/or sunflower seeds, if desired.
Pour batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake bread in a preheated 350Β° oven for 50 or 60 minutes, or until a pick inserted in the center of bread comes out clean.
Yields 1 loaf.
