Turkey-Barley Soup
Turkey-Barley Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground turkey, 1 onion, 1 c. barley, 2 large carrots and 2 turnips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

A large saucepan with 2 cups of water, add barley.
Season to taste and cook about minutes.
Brown turkey; set aside. (Make into balls, seasoned to taste and mixed with 1 egg.) When barley has cooked for 45 minutes, add all the ingredients except turkey and cook until veggies are cooked lightly, about 20 minutes. Add turkey balls and simmer for about 30 minutes.
More water may added if too thick. Serve with hot corn bread.
