Surprise Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft margarine, 1 egg, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Blend together margarine, sugar, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add the flour and chopped nuts; beat on low speed until blended thoroughly.
Chill dough in refrigerator for 1 hour. Roll a small piece of dough about the size of a walnut around a kiss.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 12 minutes.
Roll in powdered sugar after cooled.
