Sugar-Free Apple Pie
Sugar-Free Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 5 medium apples, 1/2 c. raisins, 1/4 c. tapioca, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Plump raisins by adding 1/4 cup water to raisins and cook on High heat in microwave for 2 minutes.
Cool (juice will help sweeten pie).
Peel and thinly slice apples.
Add all remaining ingredients to apples and mix thoroughly.
Pour into lower crust. Dot with butter.
Add top crust.
Crimp edges.
Bake at 425Β° for 50 to 60 minutes.
