Steak A La Genevieve(This Is An Original) is an easy dinner. Made with 8 small boneless beef chuck steaks, called "chicken steaks", 2 green peppers (bell), 2 medium onions, salt and pepper to taste and 1 (28 oz.) large can tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Break up tomatoes, placing about 1/2 the amount in baking dish. Place chicken steaks on top of tomatoes.
Slice onions and peppers into strips about 1/2 inch wide.
Place on top of meat.
Pour remainder of broken-up tomatoes and juice on top.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper as desired.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 1/4 hours, tightly covered with foil.
