Southern Dumplings
Southern Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 1 stick margarine and 1 1/2 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
Put softened margarine on top of dry ingredients.
Pour boiling water on top.
Mix well. Roll into a ball like pie dough.
Put in refrigerator until needed. Cut into diamond or squares.
Drop into boiling broth.
Cook half; cover 20 minutes.
Let stand another 20 minutes.
Before serving, use large pot and plenty of broth.
Good warmed over.
