Sopa De Piscado(Fish Soup)
Sopa De Piscado(Fish Soup) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 4 pieces fish, cubed or flaked (any kind; shark and catfish seem to cook up strong), 2 tbsp. oil, 1 medium onion, minced, 2 large cloves garlic, minced and 1 or 2 sticks celery, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Heat oil and saute onion, garlic, celery, cilantro and green chile.
When vegetables are clear, add fish and stir-fry with vegetables.
Add 1/2 glass of water or enough to make soupy. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
This soup is quick and hearty but very spicy.
