Sprinkle pork with onion salt, marjoram and pepper.
Secure on spit; insert thermometer.
Adjust spit about 8 inches from heat source, placing foil pan under pork to catch drippings.
Roast 15 minutes or bake uncovered on rack at 350° until the thermometer registers 170° to 185° according to family taste.
Allow 35 to 40 minutes per pound for roasting.
Shortly before serving, combine in skillet the sauerkraut, thinly sliced apples, cider and butter. Cover and simmer 5 minutes or until apples are tender.
Garnish with extra apple slices and parsley.
Serve with pork.
