Sausage and Cheese Chowder
Sausage And Cheese Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sage sausage, 1/4 c. chopped celery, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 2 tbsp. chopped green pepper and 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of potato soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In medium saucepan cook sausage, celery, onion and green pepper until vegetables are tender and meat is browned.
Drain excess fat.
Blend in both soups, milk and water.
Cook and stir over medium heat to high heat until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and serve at once.
Yields 6 servings.
Serve with cornbread and fresh apple slices.
