Saucy Steak Skillet
Saucy Steak Skillet is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. boneless round steak, 1/4 c. flour, 1 chopped onion, 16 oz. can potatoes and 1/4 c. catsup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Pound flour into round steak and cut into 2-inch squares. Brown; set aside.
Add chopped onion and cook until tender. Drain and save juice from potatoes.
Add enough water to potato juice to make 1 cup.
To meat, add juice, water, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, chopped peppers, salt, pepper, beef bouillon and marjoram leaves.
Simmer 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
Rinse the frozen beans or canned beans.
Add to skillet.
Also, add potatoes and pimento.
Simmer until beans are tender (10 to 15 minutes). Serves 4.
