Sarah'S Tea Cakes is an easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 1 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs and 5 to 6 c. self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix with your hands!
Mix margarine and shortening.
Add sugar and mix well.
Add eggs, mix well.
Add flour until the dough is stiff enough to handle.
Roll out as thin as pie crust if you want really thin cookies or about 1/2 inch thick for thicker cookies.
Cut with any cookie cutter you prefer.
Bake at 400Β° until the edges are light brown.
If you roll them thin, you will have a lot of cookies.
