Santa Claus Cookies
Santa Claus Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. butter, 2 c. sugar, 4 c. sifted flour, 4 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream butter with sugar.
Sift flour with spices, salt and soda. Add alternately with sour cream to the creamed mixture.
Add nuts. Knead together well. Shape into several loaves.
Wrap in wax paper and chill in refrigerator overnight (will keep for weeks in freezer!).
Slice and bake in a 375Β° oven or until browned.
I sprinkle the chilled loaf with red or green sugar before baking.
