Roll out Cookies
Roll Out Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 c. sugar, 1 large egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 400Β°.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Beat in egg and vanilla.
Add baking powder and flour, one cup at a time, mixing after each addition. The dough will be very stiff. Blend last flour in by hand. Do not put into refrigerator. Divide dough into 2 balls.
On a floured surface, roll each ball in a circle approximately 12-inches in diameter and 1/8-inch thick. Use a cutter as a guide. Dough should be only slightly thinner than cutter.
Dip cutter in flour before each use.
Bake on ungreased sheet on top rack until lightly browned, 6 to 7 minutes.
