Peter's Soupy Meat
Peter'S Soupy Meat is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 slices bacon, 1 lb. ground beef, 3 stalks celery, diced, 1 medium onion, finely chopped and 1/2 c. ketchup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Fry the bacon until it's crisp, save about half the drippings. Brown the ground beef in the bacon drippings.
Meanwhile boil the celery and onion in just enough water to cover them until they're almost tender. Add the celery, onions, water and bacon to the browned beef. Stir in the ketchup, baked beans and A-1 sauce, simmer on a low heat for a short time. Serve with salad and rolls, enough for 3 people.
