Patsy's Hot Mustard Barbecue Sauce
Patsy'S Hot Mustard Barbecue Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lemon, cut in half, 1 1/2 c. heinz ketchup, 1 small jar honey dijon mustard, 2 c. yellow mustard and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Place ketchup and both types of mustards (yellow and Dijon) in a medium saucepan.
Add salt, black pepper and sugar; mix well. Add liquid smoke and stir again.
Blend the horseradish and the jalapeño peppers in a blender with the vinegar.
Blend for 1 minute until all ingredients are liquefied, then add to sauce. Squeeze the lemon juice directly into the pan, then add whole lemon to mixture.
Blend well with other ingredients.
