Oriental Steak Soup
Oriental Steak Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. cubed beef round steak, 1 small onion (1/3 c.), 2 stalks celery, 1 tsp. dried, crushed basil and 2 tbsp. instant beef bouillon granules, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In Dutch oven, combine beef, onion, celery, basil, bouillon, soy sauce and 8 cups water.
Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 1 1/2 hours; add frozen vegetables and mushrooms.
Return mixture to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Serves 6.
