Nine Day Slaw
Nine Day Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. cabbage, 2 medium onions (optional), 1 green pepper, 2 c. sugar and 1 c. salad oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Shred cabbage, green pepper and onion.
Blend with the 2 c. sugar and set aside.
Combine the remaining ingredients and bring to a full boil, stirring over high heat.
Pour sauce mixture immediately over cabbage mixture and stir thoroughly.
Put this into containers with covers.
Cool and store in refrigerator. Keeps well for many days.
