My Sig Chili
My Sig Chili is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. olive oil, 2 lb. beef chuck, cubed, 1 onion, chopped fine, 1 green pepper, chopped and 3 cloves garlic, crushed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Brown meat quickly in olive oil.
Transfer meat to bowl. Saute onion, green pepper and garlic in same pan.
Stir in beef, tomatoes and spices.
Heat to boiling.
Stir occasionally.
Reduce heat, cover, add 1/4 cup water and cook 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Uncover and cook 45 minutes longer.
Stir in beans and heat about 5 minutes.
Put in bowls; sprinkle with cheese and Fritos.
