Margarita Shrimp
Margarita Shrimp is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 tbsp. corn oil, 1 lb. uncooked peeled shrimp, 1/2 c. minced onion, 2 large minced garlic cloves and 1/4 c. tequila, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Heat oil in large heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
Add shrimp, onion and garlic and saute until shrimp turns pink (about 1 minute).
Remove from heat and add tequila; return to heat and bring to a boil, scraping up any browned bits.
Transfer to medium bowl and cool.
Toss shrimp with lime juice and salt.
Garnish with lime wedges and serve.
