Mae Oma Jones' Lasagna
Mae Oma Jones' Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. wesson oil, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 lb. ground beef and 1 (12 oz.) tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In hot Wesson oil in heavy pan, cook garlic and onion until soft.
Add beef and seasonings and cook until crumbly.
Mix in tomato paste and hot water.
Simmer 5 minutes.
In 9 x 13-inch baking dish, put a thin layer of sauce, half the noodles, all the cottage cheese and one half of the Mozzarella cheese.
Repeat with one half of remaining sauce, remaining noodles and Mozzarella cheese.
Complete with the rest of the sauce on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
