Lemonade Cookies
Lemonade Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. granulated sugar, 3/4 c. butter flavor crisco or 3/4 butter flavor crisco stick, 2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 tbsp. grated lemon peel and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat oven to 375Β°.
Place sheets of foil on countertop for cooling cookies.
Place sugar, shortening, lemon juice, lemon peel, vanilla and lemon extract in large bowl.
Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.
Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to shortening mixture. Beat at low speed just until blended.
