Lazy Pierogis
Lazy Pierogis is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. corkscrew macaroni, 1/4 lb. butter or margarine, 1 small can mushrooms, 1/2 to 3/4 lb. bacon, cut up and 1 large can sauerkraut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Rinse kraut in cold water and cook it early or the night before.
When cool, squeeze out as much water as possible.
Fry kraut in butter with mushrooms.
In another frypan, fry bacon. Take bacon out; put onions in and saute.
Add all ingredients with cooked noodles and bake in casserole dish 20 minutes at 350Β°.
