Kidney Bean Dip
Kidney Bean Dip is an easy family-friendly dish. Made with 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. chili powder or cumin and 1 c. cheddar cheese, finely grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Drain beans, reserving liquid.
Mash beans into a smooth paste (I use a food processor).
Melt butter in small saucepan.
Add beans and cook over medium-high heat about 5 minutes.
Stir in seasonings.
Add reserved bean liquid to reach desired dipping consistency.
Stir in cheese and heat until cheese is melted. Serve warm with corn chips. Makes about 3 cups.
Reheats nicely in the microwave.
