Irish Poppy Tea Bread
Irish Poppy Tea Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sour cream, 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 2 large eggs and 1 tbsp. poppy seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 325Β°.
Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl with electric mixer, beat sour cream, sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, poppy seed and orange juice until well mixed.
Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Beat at low speed until combined.
Spoon batter into pan and bake for 50 to 55 minutes.
After cooling, remove from pan and wrap in plastic and let sit overnight.
