Honey Butter Scones
Honey Butter Scones is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 3 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. real butter, 1 pkg. quick rising yeast and 1 1/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In mixing bowl, combine honey, butter and salt.
Mix until soft and smooth.
Add 1 cup very hot tap water and stir until butter mixture has melted.
In a glass bowl, mix yeast, sugar and 1/4 cup very warm water (if using thermometer, water should be about 110Β°).
Mix and set aside until yeast mixture has doubled in size.
Add 1 cup of flour to butter mixture; stir until smooth. Slowly stir in yeast mixture.
Add the remaining flour until stiff and elastic like.
Knead for 3 to 5 minutes.
Cut into 6 to 8 equal parts.
Will rolling pin, roll to about 1/8-inch thick.
