Hamburger Buns
Hamburger Buns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/4 c. lukewarm water, 4 c. water, 1 3/4 c. sugar and 1 c. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Dissolve dry yeast in warm water and set aside.
Bring water and sugar to boil for 5 minutes.
When cooled to lukewarm, add oil, salt and eggs.
Stir in yeast mixture.
Measure 12 cups flour after sifting and add to liquid mixture.
Set aside by 2 p.m. Knead down at 6 p.m.
At 10 p.m. shape into buns and put on tins. Leave, uncovered, and bake in morning around 5 to 6 a.m. in a 350Β° oven for 18 to 20 minutes.
