Goulash Soup
Goulash Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. beef, pork and veal, mixed, coarsely diced, 1 large onion, diced, salt and pepper, 2 qt. water and 1 qt. tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt shortening or oil in Dutch oven.
Put in meat and fry until it starts to brown.
Add onion.
Cook until golden.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Add 2 quarts of water, bay leaf and cinnamon.
Cook for 45 minutes, covered.
Then add the tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce.
Cover.
Cook 30 minutes more.
