Fruit Cake Cookies
Fruit Cake Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. oleo (2 sticks), 1 c. brown sugar, 3 beaten eggs, 1/2 c. sweet milk and 3 c. plain sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Stir in milk. Sift together the flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
Add to egg mixture with milk.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill.
Drop small bits of dough on greased baking sheets and bake 20 minutes at 275Β°.
If desired, add a pecan or cherry half to top of each cookie.
