French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy French soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 4 minutes. Made with large onions, thinly sliced, c. butter, salt or garlic salt and pepper, to 4 tbsp. flour and beef broth (campbell's or swanson), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Peel and cut onions into very thin slices.
Cook onion slices in butter over very low heat.
Add salt and pepper according to taste.
Sprinkle in flour, stirring constantly to thicken butter/onion mixture.
Slowly add beef broth and water, then bring to boil.
