Faux Pas Swiss Steak
Faux Pas Swiss Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground round steak, 2 c. crushed cornflakes, 2 eggs, slightly beaten, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except spaghetti sauce; mix until well blended. Form into 6 patties, 1/2-inch thick. In a large skillet over medium heat, place 2 tablespoons olive or peanut oil and cook meat patties until brown on both sides. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer on low heat 15 to 20 minutes. Let sit in skillet 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Serves 6.
