Easy Salisbury Steak
Easy Salisbury Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, divided, 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs, 1/4 c. sweet onion, finely chopped, 1 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced and 1 lb. lean chopped beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In a large bowl, mix 1/4 cup of the soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg, onions and peppers.
Shape into 6 patties.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook patties until brown on both sides. Spoon off all fat.
Stir in remaining soup and the fresh mushrooms; add salt and pepper.
Return patties to skillet and reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer until done, turning patties occasionally (about 20 minutes).
