Doughnut Muffins
Doughnut Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, 1/3 c. oil, 1/2 c. milk, 1 1/2 c. flour and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Using a fork, beat egg in mixing bowl.
Add oil and milk; continue beating with fork.
Sift flour; measure and sift with sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
Add to mixture and stir well with a fork very lightly, just to hold together.
Turn into muffin tins, well-greased.
Sprinkle each muffin with mixture of sugar and cinnamon and put a dot of butter or margarine on top of each.
Bake in a 400Β° oven for about 15 to 20 minutes (check at 15).
