Doughnut Muffins
Doughnut Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/2 c. flour and 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cream shortening and sugar together; add egg and beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
Add dry ingredients to egg mixture alternately with the milk.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 to 30 minutes.
Remove from tins at once and roll in melted butter, then in cinnamon sugar mixture.
