Country Soup
Country Soup is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. fresh pork (hocks, shoulder or butt), 1/2 lb. blanched salt pork, 1 onion with 3 cloves, 3 tbsp. peanut oil and 3 onions, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Place pork and salt pork in large soup pot.
Pour in 3 1/2 quarts water.
Bring to boil, then lower heat and simmer 1 hour. Add beans and whole onion.
Simmer 1 hour more.
