Christmas Cookies
Christmas Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 c. molasses and 1/2 c. strong coffee, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix margarine, sugar, eggs and molasses.
Mix in coffee.
In a separate bowl, mix together flour, pepper, cloves, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, baking powder and 2 tablespoons anise seed.
Mix dry ingredients into coffee mixture.
It will be sticky so add a little more flour to make dough stiff.
Roll out thin. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350Β° and watch carefully.
Make a thin frosting of powdered sugar, water and a drop of vanilla. Frost first, then use colored sprinkles.
