Chinese Pepper Steak
Chinese Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 flank steak (1 1/4 lb.), 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 tsp. sugar, 1/4 tsp. ginger and 1/4 c. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Slice steak into very thin strips diagonally.
Combine cornstarch, sugar and ginger; stir in soy sauce.
Pour mixture over meat; stir.
Cut peppers into thin strips and tomatoes into wedges.
Quickly brown meat, one third at a time, in hot oil; remove from pan.
Reduce heat; add peppers, garlic and water to pan and cook until peppers are tender-crisp, 5 to 6 minutes.
Stir in meat and tomatoes; heat through.
Makes 4 servings.
