Chinese Pepper Steak
Chinese Pepper Steak is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. round steak, sliced in thin strips, 1/4 c. margarine, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1 clove chopped garlic and 3 large green peppers, thinly sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat margarine in skillet.
Add meat and fry until richly browned. Add onion, garlic, green peppers, celery, pepper and 2 to 3 cups water.
Cover and cook 20 to 50 minutes or until meat is tender. Add water as necessary. During the last 10 minutes, add beef bouillon. Blend cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and soy sauce.
Stir into meat mixture and cook, uncovered, 5 minutes longer. Serve on rice.
