Chinese Pepper Steak
Chinese Pepper Steak is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. round steak, sliced in thin strips, 1/4 c. margarine, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1 clove chopped garlic and 3 large green peppers, thinly sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Heat margarine in skillet.
Add meat and fry until richly browned. Add onion, garlic, green peppers, celery, pepper and 2 to 3 cups water.
Cover and cook 20 to 50 minutes or until meat is tender. Add water as necessary. During the last 10 minutes, add beef bouillon. Blend cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and soy sauce.
Stir into meat mixture and cook, uncovered, 5 minutes longer. Serve on rice.
